Orangewood backs major 7 Brew franchisee as brand continues rapid US expansion
Orangewood Partners has invested in Motley 7 Brew, one of the largest franchisees of the fast-growing US beverage chain 7 Brew, to accelerate its national growth strategy.
The investment comes just months after 7 Brew secured funding from Blackstone Growth to fuel its overall expansion.
Motley 7 Brew, founded in 2022 by Orangewood and Anchor Point Management Group, has quickly scaled operations across Ohio, Georgia, and Texas.
“This partnership reflects the strength of our position within the 7 Brew ecosystem,” said Motley 7 Brew co-founder Rick Nader. “We look forward to further benefitting from Orangewood’s deep franchise expertise as we execute our growth strategy.”
7 Brew posted 163% year-on-year sales growth in 2024, closing the year with 321 locations and over $502m in sales, according to Technomic. With an average unit volume of over $2m, the brand is forecast to grow its footprint by another 50% in 2025.
The deal highlights Orangewood’s continued focus on high-growth, multi-unit consumer platforms. Anchor Point, which co-founded Motley 7 Brew, also operates close to 300 Taco Bell and Buffalo Wild Wings locations, further underscoring the team’s deep experience in scaling franchise networks.
