Bridgepoint, Cinven, and TDR circle MyDentist in £800m–£900m private equity auction
Bridgepoint, Cinven, Triton Partners, and TDR Capital are among the private equity firms bidding for MyDentist, the UK’s largest provider of NHS dental services, according to Sky News.
The sale process, led by Morgan Stanley, is expected to value the business at approximately £800m–£900m.
MyDentist, which operates from around 600 locations across the UK, is currently owned by Palamon Capital Partners. Palamon acquired the company from Carlyle in 2021.
HIG Europe also submitted a bid earlier in the process, though its participation in the final stages is uncertain.
The auction highlights continued investor appetite for platform healthcare assets, particularly in segments backed by recurring public sector contracts.
